Focke Wulf FW190 A-8 / 1:5 Scale manufactured by Sis T - Modelairplanes
This will be an incredibly accurately detailed molded model (there is NOTHING quite like this FW190A-8 kit in detail
and scale accuracy anywhere!!!)---it is truly the ultimate FW190A-8 kit. Absolutely worth the wait. That is why DJ Aerotech
has decided to import the kit to the USA, and we are very pleased to do so.
Developed by Kurt Tank, the FW-190 was designed to fight alongside the Bf-109, but in reality it far surpassed the performance and
versatility of Willy Messerschmitts Bf-109 fighter aircraft. Now is your chance to own a incredibly accurate 1:5 scale model of
this famous fighter.
It is hard to tell the difference between this model and the original. Only by using original materials on the master
model is it possible to recreate the realistic surface features, butt joints and plate overlaps of the original aircraft.
Plates looks like plates, fabric like fabric and rivets like rivets. Additionally, all inspection covers and hatches have
been incorporated in the mold at the proper position. The model has over 7200 rivets, approx. 250 screws visible,
rudder and elevators have a fabric covered appearance with scalloped tape as on original aircraft, true to scale hinges
etc.; also the pivot points of the hinges agree with those of the original..
The Focke Wulf possesses very balanced neutral flight characteristics as a result of the use of the Naca 2415 airfoil
combined with washout at the wing tips. With the use of flaps, the model can be flown very slowly, making for slow, safe landing.
Without flaps, the model gives indication of flow separation (stall) by a "jerky" motion, very noticeable by the
pilot at the tail; this provides a good visual warning that allows adequate time for counter measures. Thus it can be
controlled and steered by each pilot with aileron experience surely in air.
The model is capable of performing all of the maneuvers of the original aircraft. It is not intended for violent, non-scale,
aerobatic maneuvers.

Due to the extensive detail and the great amount of labor and time involved in producing these fine kits, (Over 30 different mold halves
are used to create the FW190.) kits will arrive in a slow but steady volume. It is also extremely difficult to determine
exactly when DJ Aerotech will be receiving kits. Therefore it is important that customers interested in this kit realize that
we can only make estimates on delivery dates.
